Materials
Verdant is a large grass-green and butter-yellow cat tree, like green terraces on a spring hillside: many thick sisal-wrapped posts rise from the base and carry two broad platforms, one above the other. On the upper platform is a house with rounded square windows; the window edges and interior are butter yellow, in contrast to the green outside, and it is open on two sides. Beside it a tall post carries a round butter-yellow bed, and a taller post carries a round bed with a butter-yellow cushion and a hanging sisal ball beneath; a sisal ramp rests between the two platforms for cats to walk up, and a butter-yellow hammock hangs beneath the lower platform. Each post is capped at both ends with plush and wrapped in sisal in the middle, so there is plenty to scratch and several cats can play together without crowding.
